*We will have all of the battles posted here in "The Battle Field (July)" for your viewing/listening pleasure
*Feel free to post on the shoutbox any comments about the battles, your opinions of the emcees, or anything at all for that matter.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

1. The minimum length of the battle should be no less then 1 minute and no longer then 2 1/2 minutes. Any battles below or above these time limits will result in an automatic disqualification.
2. Battle tracks must be posted on your site BEFORE the required time that’s been given. (Judges will send out notes giving the two emcees a four day notice to complete their audio track) Any late battles will be considered as a “No Show” and the opponent automatically wins that round.
3. If an emcee is found using any other artist’s lyrics/material within their battle, they will be automatically disqualified. ___+(Exception: Using an opponent’s lyrics in order to throw a punch at them).
___+IE: Funny introduction with a sample of their track or a corny line they used that you want to bash.
4. This is an AUDIO BATTLE! Text will not be judged or even looked at. IF IT’S NOT ON WAX, IT DOESN’T COUNT!
5. Selected judges will listen to each track, twice, and the majority vote will determine who is sent to the next round.
6. The FIRST, AND ONLY THE FIRST, battle that is posted will be judged. Only ONE BATTLE TRACK PER ROUND will be allowed. Any “redo’s” or “add-ons” will not be listened to/count. (The first will be the final: make it good!)
7. Only the emcee’s that are battling are allowed to be on the recorded track. Any emcee found having another emcee flow on their battle track will be automatically disqualified. (Intro’s are the exception: Other emcees can be on your intro. as long as they don’t throw “rhymed punches” [2 bars that rhyme]. If the judges even suspect that the guest emcee is trying to throw rhymed punches and use up time, the battling emcee will be automatically disqualified).
8. There are NO REWARDS for winning any of the battles. For the most part, this is for fun, respect, and bragging rights.
9. EXPLICITY IS ALLOWED! (This is not 106 & park, feel free to express yourself!)
